Resource boundaries

Clear machine boundaries make workflows predictable

RunnerVPS delivers each cloud Mac as a complete dedicated physical node. The CPU, unified memory, and local SSD are not shared with other tenants. Your team manages the system, toolchain, and access credentials.

Dedicated physical Mac mini

Not a shared virtual machine, and not a configuration built around vague resource quotas

Every order specifies the M4 chip, memory, SSD, location, and rental term. Once delivered, you can pin Xcode, command-line tools, dependency caches, and build scripts to reduce variation between execution environments.

Continuous buildsPin Xcode, certificates, and dependency caches
Remote desktopUse the full macOS graphical interface through VNC
Automated executionRegister as your team’s self-hosted runner
Local model experimentsPrepare MLX test environments within a unified-memory budget
01 / CONFIG

Configuration in the order

Confirm the machine, memory, SSD, location, and term before submitting. Review the delivered configuration in the order record instead of relying on vague shared-resource descriptions.

02 / ACCESS

SSH and VNC, each for its role

Use SSH for command-line builds, file sync, and automation. Use VNC through a controlled connection when you need Xcode, Final Cut Pro, or other graphical software.

Two fixed plans

Two M4 plans for different workloads

Start with Runner M4 for everyday development and light automation. Choose Runner M4 Plus when you need more memory and local storage. Check all four term prices on the plans page.

Observable workflows

Verify every stage from submission to artifact delivery

We do not replace real workflow visibility with made-up performance figures. Build an observable chain across task submission, queue status, execution logs, signing steps, and artifact delivery.

Build process chart

This diagram illustrates stages and state changes; it does not represent fixed durations or performance guarantees. Dependency size, test scope, signing steps, and network conditions affect completion time.

Connection and management

Verify the device first, then connect

Before the first connection, verify the device name, location, and host fingerprint. Use SSH for command-line work; prepare a VNC client when you need Xcode or other graphical software.

SSH / VNC preparation checklist

Before the first connection

1
Prepare a unique SSH public keyManage keys separately for each device and user; never share private keys among team members.
2
Verify the host fingerprintCompare it with the console record before the first login. If it changes, stop and confirm the reason before connecting.
3
Prepare a VNC clientEnable remote desktop only when you need a graphical interface, preferably through a controlled network or SSH tunnel.
4
Update initial access credentialsAfter the first connection, change the password, restrict account permissions, and record the handoff owner and purpose.

Real workloads

Built around specific tasks, not generic compute

Choose a configuration based on task duration, unified-memory needs, graphical-interface requirements, and parallelism. Design each scenario around connection, environment setup, task execution, and data exit.

WORKLOAD / 01

iOS / macOS development

Open Xcode remotely, pull code, pin the toolchain, run tests, and produce signed builds. When finished, retrieve the IPA, dSYM, logs, and project caches that need to be retained.

WORKLOAD / 02

Self-hosted runner

Register the dedicated node to a selected project, limit the runner’s scope, maintain dependency caches, and return artifacts and execution records to your existing CI system.

WORKLOAD / 03

AI experiments

Prepare an MLX environment, choose models and data within the unified-memory budget, record dependency versions and experiment parameters, and remove local data and access tokens before the term ends.

WORKLOAD / 04

Audio and video workflows

Preview projects through remote desktop, plan media sync and cache space in advance, and retrieve files promptly after export. We do not promise unverified fixed render times.

I rent by project cycle instead of leaving my own computer compiling all night.

Independent developer

A dedicated node makes the signing environment easier to keep consistent, while device and pipeline records stay aligned.

CI lead

I spin one up when testing is needed, end it with the rental term, and keep the experiment environment off my personal computer.

Frequently asked questions

Search the support center for connection, system, network, storage, build, and account questions. For a specific device, sign in to the console and submit a device-linked ticket.

Is RunnerVPS a virtual machine service?

No. Every order includes one dedicated physical Mac mini with Apple Silicon. Compute resources and local storage are not shared with other tenants.

Which rental terms are supported?

Daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly terms are available. Daily suits short tests, weekly suits release sprints, monthly suits ongoing CI, and quarterly suits stable pipelines.

How do I connect to the device?

Verify the device fingerprint, then sign in through SSH. Use VNC when you need a graphical interface. View device credentials and access status in the console.

Which payment methods are supported?

Only USDT-TRC20 and Visa / Mastercard / Amex via Stripe are supported. All prices are settled in USD. Actual gateway availability is determined by the backend response.

Are the locations available year-round?

All locations operate normally 365 days a year. Choose a term around your project cycle and complete artifact retrieval, key removal, and data cleanup before it ends.

Rent by project cycle

Organize your Apple Silicon workflow by day, week, month, or quarter

Choose one of two plans, one of five locations, a rental term, and any add-ons before submitting your order. Pricing, availability, and device delivery details are confirmed on the console checkout page.
